Sports Medicine Foundation

Sports Medicine Foundation is an organisation established in public interests with a view to promote the development sports medicine and science and, above all, to provide young and top-level athletes medical and health services in sports medicine, where highly experienced recognised physicians carry out medical studies aimed at preventing diseases and traumas, supporting health, facilitating recovery and establishing physical capacity for work.

RELATION WITH THE CLUSTER

Sports Medicine Foundation is the leading partner and the initiator of the Health for Active Life Innovation Cluster. The objective is to develop integrated high-quality health research packages in cooperation with other partners, and to improve athletes’ health through efficient preventive measures, by supporting the development of their physical capabilities.
