Institute of Sport Sciences and Physiotherapy of University of Tartu has become a pre-eminent centre of fitness and sport science not just in Estonia but also in Europe.

The academic branch dealing with physical activity, health and sport sciences combines specialities related to personal services – athletics and recreation – and is committed to studies and teaching in the areas of fitness, performance, ergonomics, recreation, health related behaviour and sport sciences.
